The Brave Story of Hazrat Hussain (Razi Allah tala anhu)


Hazrat Hussain (Razi Allah tala anhu) was the beloved grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was the son of Hazrat Ali (Razi Allah tala anhu) and Hazrat Fatimah (Razi Allah tala anhu), the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH). From his early childhood, Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) was kind, gentle, and full of love for others. He was taught by the Prophet (PBUH) to always speak the truth, help the poor, and stand up for what is right. Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) loved his grandfather, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), very much. The Prophet also loved Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) and his brother Hazrat Hasan (Razi Allah tala anhu) deeply. He used to play with them, hug them, and pray for them. The Prophet (PBUH) once said that Hasan and Hussain are the leaders of the youth in Paradise. This shows us how special Hazrat Hussain (Razi Allah tala anhu)was in the eyes of the Prophet.

As Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) grew older, he became a wise and noble man. He always followed the path of Islam and never did anything wrong. He treated people with kindness, respect, and fairness. He spent his time praying, helping others, and spreading the teachings of Islam. He did not seek power or wealth. He only wanted to please Allah and follow the way shown by his grandfather, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

After the Prophet (PBUH) passed away, the Muslim world had different leaders. Later, a ruler named Yazid wanted to become the leader of all Muslims. Yazid was not a just ruler. He did not follow the teachings of Islam properly. He wanted Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) to accept him as the leader, but Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) refused. He knew that Yazid was not the right person to guide the Muslims. He believed that a leader must be honest, kind, and fair. He must fear Allah and care for the people.

Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) did not want a fight. He only wanted peace. But he also could not stay silent when wrong things were happening. So, he decided to leave his home in Madinah and travel to a place called Kufa, where people had written to him, asking for his help and support. Many people there wanted Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) to guide them.

Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) started his journey with his family and a few close companions. They traveled through the desert, facing the hot sun and the dry land. Even though it was a hard journey, Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) remained patient. He did not complain, because he knew he was doing the right thing. He was not afraid of difficulty, because he trusted in Allah.

When Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) reached a place called Karbala, he and his family were stopped by Yazid’s army. They were not allowed to go forward. They were also not allowed to return. The army was very large, and Hazrat Hussain’s(Razi Allah tala anhu) group was very small. The army did not let them take water from the river nearby. It was very hot, and the children were thirsty. Still, Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) remained calm and prayed to Allah for help.

Even though he was surrounded, Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) did not give up. He knew that he must not accept injustice. He told the army that he did not want to fight. He only wanted to live peacefully and follow Islam. But the army did not listen. They had orders to force Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anhu) to accept Yazid or face harm.

Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) stood firm. He said he would rather give his life than agree to something that was wrong. He was ready to sacrifice everything for the truth. One by one, his friends and family members were attacked. They bravely defended themselves, but the army was too big. Even Hazrat Hussain’s(Razi Allah tala anhu) little son, Ali Asghar, who was only a baby, was not spared. The baby was thirsty and crying, but the enemy did not even give him water.

Finally, Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) himself went out to the battlefield. He was tired, thirsty, and alone, but he was still brave. He fought with strength and courage, but he was wounded and fell. As he lay on the ground, he prayed to Allah and stayed firm in his faith. He gave his life for truth, justice, and the message of Islam.

This event is known as the Battle of Karbala. It was a sad day in the history of Islam, but it is also a story of great courage. Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) gave his life to protect the true teachings of Islam. He did not fight for power or wealth. He fought so that people would know what is right and what is wrong. He showed us that a Muslim should never support injustice, even if it is hard to speak out.

The story of Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) teaches us many important lessons. It teaches us to always speak the truth, even when it is difficult. It teaches us to be brave and to trust in Allah. It teaches us to stand with justice, kindness, and peace. Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) loved Allah more than anything else. He gave up everything to please Him.

If we see something wrong, we should try to stop it in a kind way. We should never lie or do something bad just to make others happy. We must remember that Allah is always watching us and He loves those who do the right thing.

Hazrat Hussain’s(Razi Allah tala anho) story is not just about the past. It is a lesson for every Muslim child today. It tells us that truth is more important than anything else. It tells us that we must never fear people when we are doing the right thing. We must only fear Allah and try to live as good Muslims.

When we pray, we can ask Allah to make us strong like Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho). We can ask Allah to help us love the truth and stay away from lies. We can ask Allah to make us kind, patient, and brave. We can learn from the life of Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho) and try to follow his path.

Let us always remember Hazrat Hussain’s(Razi Allah tala anhu) great sacrifice. Let us always stand with truth, no matter how hard it is. Let us be kind, honest, and brave Muslims. Allah loves those who do good and stay firm in their faith. Like Hazrat Hussain(Razi Allah tala anho), we too can become heroes in the eyes of Allah by being truthful, just, and kind.
