Hazrat Usman (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) accepted Islam when many people were against it. Even though some people were unkind to him, he did not stop believing in Allah. He was patient and strong. He knew that Allah loves those who are patient and do good things. Hazrat Usman (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) trusted Allah and never gave up. He always told the truth and stayed away from wrong things. He married two daughters of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), one after the other. This was a big honor. People called him “Zun-Nurain,” which means “the one with two lights.” The Prophet (PBUH) loved him very much. Hazrat Usman (R.A) always respected the Prophet and obeyed him. He never argued or disobeyed. A good Muslim child should also listen to elders and follow what is right.

Once there was a man who owned a well. He sold water for money. Many people could not afford it. Hazrat Usman (RaziAllah Tala Anhu) bought the well with his own money and made it free for everyone. Now the poor could drink water without paying. This made Allah very happy. Usman (R.A) did not ask for thanks. He only wanted Allah’s reward. The Holy Quran teaches us to give to others without expecting anything in return.

Hazrat Usman (R.A) also gave hundreds of camels and a lot of gold to help the Muslim army. He gave more than anyone else. The Prophet (PBUH) was very happy and said that nothing would harm Usman (Razi Allah Tala Anhu) after that day. Hazrat Usman (R.A) gave his best to Islam. He gave quietly, without showing off. We should also give from what we have and help others when we can.

When Hazrat Usman (R.A) became Caliph, he worked hard to serve the people. He made sure the Quran was written clearly so that people in other places could read it too. He sent copies of the Quran to many cities. He loved the Quran and wanted everyone to follow it. He also reminded people to pray, to obey their parents, to tell the truth, and to be kind.

Even when some people became angry with Hazrat Usman (R.A), he did not get angry back. He stayed calm and peaceful. He did not want Muslims to fight each other. He said, “I do not want to hurt anyone.” He chose peace over fighting. Allah tells us to forgive and be patient. Hazrat Usman (R.A) did just that. He forgave others and prayed for them.

In the end, some people attacked Hazrat Usman (R.A). He was very old. But he still did not fight them. He sat in his house and read the Quran. While he was reading, they harmed him. His blood fell on the Quran. He became a martyr while reading the words of Allah. His love for the Quran was so strong that he gave his life for it.

Hazrat Usman (R.A) teaches us to be kind, gentle, honest, and generous. He teaches us to love the Quran and follow its teachings. He shows us how to forgive others and stay peaceful. He gave his wealth to help Islam and never asked for praise. A good Muslim child should try to be like Hazrat Usman (R.A). Be honest. Be kind. Help others. Read the Quran. Love Allah. Obey your parents. Then, Allah will love you and bless you.
