Allah is Our Creator

Allah is our Creator. He made everything. He made the sun, moon, stars, and sky. He made the trees, flowers, birds, and bees. He made the oceans, animals, and people too.

Allah made us. He gave us eyes to see, ears to hear, hands to hold, and hearts to feel. He gave us families to love us. He gave us food to eat and water to drink. Allah gives us rain from the sky and fruits from the earth. He gives us sleep at night and energy in the day.

He made us Muslims and showed us the right path. Allah loves us more than anyone else. He is kind and merciful.

The Rights of Allah

Because Allah does so much for us, we must also do something in return. These are the rights of Allah. A “right” is something someone must get. So, Allah’s rights are the things we must give Him.

1. Worship

The first and biggest right of Allah is worship. Allah made us to worship Him. Worship means praying, remembering Him, and loving Him. We do not worship anyone else. We do not worship statues or people or animals. We worship only Allah. That is called Tawheed, which means believing in only One God. It is the most important thing in Islam.

If we believe in one God and do good, Allah will give us Jannah. Saying La ilaha illallah means “There is no god but Allah.” It is the key to Islam. This is Allah’s first right: to believe only in Him and worship Him alone.

2. Love for Allah

The second right of Allah is to love Him more than anyone. We love our parents. We love our teachers. We love our friends. But we love Allah the most. Why? Because Allah loves us the most. He always takes care of us. He never sleeps. He never forgets. He always hears us when we pray. He is always with us.

So, we say, “I love Allah the most.” When we love Allah, we listen to Him. We do what He likes. We stay away from bad things.

3. Obedience

The third right of Allah is to obey Him. That means we follow His commands. We do what Allah tells us in the Quran. We listen to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. When Allah says pray, we pray. When Allah says be kind, we be kind. When Allah says do not lie, we do not lie. Obeying Allah makes Him happy.

4. Gratitude

The fourth right of Allah is gratitude. That means saying thank you. We say Alhamdulillah every day. It means “All praise is for Allah.” We thank Allah for our toys, clothes, food, and home. We thank Him for the air we breathe and the love we feel.

Thanking Allah is easy. We just smile, say Alhamdulillah, and use our blessings the right way. If we get a toy, we play nicely. If we get food, we do not waste it.

5–15: Trust, Prayer, Remembrance, and More

The fifth right of Allah is trusting Him. That means we believe that Allah knows what is best. Sometimes we want something, but we don’t get it. That’s okay. Maybe Allah knows it is not good for us. We say, “I trust Allah. He knows best.” This is called Tawakkul—trusting Allah with our hearts.

The sixth right of Allah is to pray to Him. We talk to Allah in our Salah. We ask Him for help in our duas. We say, “O Allah, help me be good. Help my family. Keep us safe. Give us Jannah.” Allah listens to all prayers. He always answers, in the best way. He never gets tired of hearing us. Even if we whisper, He hears. Even if we cry, He sees. Even if we are sad, He knows.

The seventh right of Allah is to remember Him. This is called Dhikr. We say, “SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar.” When we wake up, we say Bismillah. Before eating, we say Bismillah. After eating, we say Alhamdulillah. Before sleeping, we say the duas. All of this is remembering Allah. It makes our hearts clean. It makes Allah love us more.

The eighth right of Allah is to fear Him with love. Fear does not mean we are scared like in a dark room. It means we respect Him and know that He sees everything. So we do not do bad things, even when no one is looking. We say, “Allah is watching. I will do good.” This is called Taqwa. A person with Taqwa is very special. Allah promises Jannah to those who have Taqwa.

The ninth right of Allah is that we do not say bad things about Him. We do not make fun of His name. We do not say things that are untrue. We speak about Allah with love and respect. We say, “Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Most Kind. Allah is the Most Wise.”

The tenth right of Allah is to learn about Him. When we learn about Allah’s names, we get closer to Him. Allah has 99 beautiful names. Each name teaches us something special. Ar-Rahman means The Most Merciful. Al-Ghaffar means The One Who Forgives. Al-Khaliq means The Creator. Learning Allah’s names helps us love Him more.

The eleventh right of Allah is to follow His Messenger. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us how to pray, how to fast, how to live, and how to be kind. When we follow the Prophet, we are obeying Allah. Allah chose the Prophet to be our guide. So we listen to him and love him. When we send blessings on him by saying “Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam,” Allah blesses us too.

The twelfth right of Allah is to share His message. We tell others about Allah. We say, “Come, learn about Allah. He loves us. He made us. Let us worship Him.” This is called Da’wah. Even children can do Da’wah by being kind, sharing, and showing good manners. When we are nice, people ask, “Why are you so good?” We say, “Because I believe in Allah.”

The thirteenth right of Allah is to be patient in hard times. Sometimes we fall. Sometimes we get sick. Sometimes things break. We do not cry too much. We do not scream. We say, “Alhamdulillah.” We stay strong and calm. This makes Allah happy. He gives us more blessings.

The fourteenth right of Allah is to ask for forgiveness. We all make mistakes. But Allah is the Most Forgiving. We say, “Astaghfirullah.” We say sorry to Allah. We promise to be better. Allah loves when we say sorry. He wipes away our bad deeds. He gives us a fresh start.

The fifteenth right of Allah is to follow His rules even when it is hard. Sometimes we feel lazy to pray. Sometimes we want to lie or fight. But we stop ourselves. We say, “No, I will do what Allah loves.” This is real strength. When we follow Allah in hard times, He helps us in big ways.

A Loving Reminder

All these are the rights of Allah. They are not hard. They make us better. They make us shine. They make our homes peaceful. They make Allah happy.

When we give Allah His rights, He gives us gifts. He gives us love, peace, joy, and Jannah. Allah is so kind. Even when we forget, He waits for us to return.

Let us be children who give Allah His rights. Let us pray on time, be thankful, trust Him, and love Him always. Let us say, “La ilaha illallah” with our hearts. Let us remember that Allah is always with us. He is closer than our breath. We are never alone. We are always under His care.

We are the children of Islam. We are the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. We are the people of the Quran. Let us rise up and be strong Muslims. Let us love Allah with all our heart. This is the best way to live.
