“Allah” is an Arabic word that refers to the One and Only God. He is the Unique and Supreme Being with no partner, no parents, no spouse, and no children. Belief in the Oneness of Allah is called Tauheed, and it is the most essential concept in Islam.
Allah is our Creator. He created the universe and everything within it. He does everything by Himself and never needs anyone’s help. Allah was not created—He has always existed and will always remain. He has no beginning and no end. He is the First and the Last, Eternal and Ever-Living.
Allah is always present. He is with us at all times. Though we cannot see Him, He sees us and knows everything—everywhere, at every moment. He is All-Knowing, Kind, and Loving. Out of His mercy, He gave us loving parents, food, water, light, air, and all the things we need to live.
It is Allah who gave us life, and one day He will take it back. After death, we will return to Him.
Allah is our Lord and Master, and we are His servants. It is our duty to worship and obey Him alone. We should always be grateful for the countless blessings He has given us.
